The Heart Behind HITOP

Hi, my name is Chris Hewitt, the WOE Writer and founder of HITOP Ministries. When I was about 14 years old, my good friend's dad invited me to church. Over the next two years, each week after church (over lunch) he invested time in me by showing me what it was to LOVE, he taught me how to LISTEN and hear what others where truly saying, and he would LEAD me how to walk in my faith. Through his encouragement, I became a part of the church and was later baptized. During this two years I was held accountable and guided in the questions I had on God as well as the Bible. His intentional heart, changed mine. Yet when my friend and I stopped hanging out, I lost the connection to his dad. My accountability was gone. While rooted in Christ, I wavered. The next few years I began to walk into darkness and run from the light of Christ.

But the benevolence of The Lord rescued me. Now I devote my life to serving and helping men apply what I did not, so the desires of this world do not overtake them as they did me.

I'm on a mission to inspire men to LOVE. LISTEN. LEAD.  Through one on one coaching, I show you how to LOVE intentionally, LISTEN carefully, and give practical ways to LEAD boldly. I offer the ability to unlock the information hidden within your heart and help you to lose your identity in this world and find it in Christ.

I invite you to check out my blog, WOE Writer where I share my heart (through stories) and give practical guidance on what I have learned through years of mentoring and being mentored. Connecting throughout the week remains a pillar of strength to succeeding in the principles of HITOP.

not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
